These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the FrithRugs website. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. About FrithRugs

2. Products, Colours & Sizes

   We take great care to describe and photograph our rugs accurately. Colours can vary by screen, lighting and surroundings. Handmade rugs can naturally vary slightly in size, colour, design and finish. If an exact measurement or shade is important, please contact us before ordering.

3. Prices & Payment

   Prices are in Pounds Sterling and include VAT where applicable. Very occasionally an obvious pricing, stock or description error may occur; if so, we will contact you and explain the options.

4. Your Order

   Please check your order confirmation carefully. All orders are subject to availability. We carry very extensive stocks ourselves, but if an item becomes unavailable before the website updates, we’ll contact you. If we cannot supply it and no alternative is agreed, we’ll provide a full refund.

5. Delivery

   FREE Next Day Delivery is available on eligible online orders for rugs up to 200cm wide. Orders placed before 2pm are normally delivered the following day, Monday to Saturday, subject to postcode and courier availability. Orders placed after 2pm Friday or over the weekend are dispatched Monday for Tuesday delivery.

   For rugs over 200cm wide, we will contact you after ordering to arrange the most suitable FREE delivery service, subject to location. Delivery arrangements may differ for the Scottish Highlands, Islands and some remote UK postcodes. Where an additional charge is unavoidable, we will discuss it with you before proceeding.

6. Online Cancellation & Returns

   For most online purchases, you normally have 14 days from receiving the goods to tell us you wish to cancel, then a further 14 days to return them. Online purchases can be returned free in person to Bodelwyddan or Shrewsbury. Courier returns go to Bodelwyddan only.

7. Refunds

   Our standard delivery service, including FREE Next Day Delivery where applicable, is provided free of charge and therefore there is no original delivery charge to refund. We may withhold a refund until we receive the goods back or evidence of return, whichever occurs first, as permitted by law.

8. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Rugs

   Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised are not normally covered by the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not affect rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

9. Underlay

   Underlay cut to your specific measurements or otherwise made to your specification cannot normally be returned simply because you changed your mind. Standard underlay remains subject to statutory rights.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

    If there is a problem with something we’ve supplied, contact us as soon as possible and give us the opportunity to put it right. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

11. Click & Collect

    We’ll let you know when your order is ready. Please collect within 3 working days of the agreed collection date unless another arrangement has been made. Online orders collected from a store remain subject to applicable online-purchase rights.

12. Our Price Promise

    If you find the same rug, same size, genuinely available from another UK retailer for less, we’ll match the price and supply our Super Grip Anti-Slip Underlay free. This includes genuine publicly available sales, promotions and limited-time discount codes.

13. In-Store Purchases

    These terms primarily relate to website purchases. In-store purchases may be subject to different terms together with applicable statutory rights.

14. Our Responsibility to You

    We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts legal rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applying to your purchase will be those in force when your order is placed.
