How to Lay Your Rug Underlay
SMOOTH FLOOR → SUPER GRIP → EITHER SIDE DOWN
FITTED CARPET → FOXI “SUPER PLUS” → WHITE SIDE DOWN
UNEVEN FLOOR → FOXI “SUPER PLUS” → PRINTED SIDE DOWN
Super Grip – For Smooth Floors
Ideal for wood, laminate, vinyl and smooth tiled floors. Both sides are the same, so either side can face the floor.
Foxi “Super Plus” – Fitted Carpet
WHITE SIDE = CARPET. PRINTED SIDE = BACK OF RUG. Lay the white side facing down onto the fitted carpet.
Foxi “Super Plus” – Uneven Hard Floors
PRINTED SIDE = FLOOR. WHITE SIDE = BACK OF RUG. On uneven hard floors such as quarry tiles, Foxi is laid the opposite way around.
How to Lay It
-
Position the Underlay
Lay the underlay flat approximately where you want the rug. It should sit slightly inside the rug edges.
-
Place Your Rug on Top
Position the rug carefully over the underlay, checking the correct orientation above.
-
Check the Edges
The underlay should not protrude beyond the rug. Trim with scissors if necessary.
Large Rug? No Problem.
Underlay for larger rugs may be supplied in more than one piece. Simply position the pieces next to each other underneath the rug. They do not need to be joined.
Easy Way to Position a Large Rug
- Position the underlay first.
- Roll the rug up.
- Place one end of the rolled rug in the correct position.
- Carefully unroll the rug across the underlay.
- Make final adjustments.
